Newport was established in 1997; with offices and labs in London, Dublin and Shanghai and our own dedicated five-acre chemical port facility in Liverpool.

Newport Industries is the largest importer and supplier of Soda Ash and Sodium Bicarbonate in the UK. We supply via 8 UK locations to over 350 clients, from multinationals to local manufacturers with sales exceeding 400,000mt’s per annum.

Our business has grown to supply a wide range of chemicals spread over 10 application industries. These range from Adhesives, Glass, Food and Feed ingredients through to Cleaning Chemicals, Flue Gas Abatement and Water Treatment.

We are passionate about serving small and large alike and rely heavily on Supply Chain Management activities and investing heavily in Infrastructure, IT and People.
