Biocide, Biostimulants and Plant Protection

Method Development & Validation
We can carry out method development across a wide range of compounds, from simple to complex. You can see more details of substances we have worked on by visiting our case studies page.For assays to be carried out under GLP, there needs to be a validated method of analysis.Depending on where you intend to register your products different territories have varying requirements.EU requirements are the standard validation parameters we offer complying with SANCO/3030/99 (or SANTE 12830 for residues), but our validation programmes can be adapted to also meet the requirements of FDA, Brazilian ABNT and Australia.

We have a broad knowledge of physical and chemical testing methods for determining the physical / chemical properties of formulated products.We follow methodology such as: CIPAC/OPPTS/PHARMACOPEIA/OECD/EEC/AOAC and more.We also create our own methods and SOPs for bespoke purposes.Tests may be required for REACh, PPP, BPR or other guidelines.

Storage Stability
Storage Stability Studies determine the shelf life of products. This information is a necessity for registration and the process of evaluation covers both the product and the packaging of that product.Oxford Analytical is a GLP compliant laboratory with broad experience in performing stability studies in accordance with all current guidelines covering plant protection products and Biocides, as outlined in , Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009 of the EU parliament and council on placing plant protection products on the market, and the EU BPR No 528/2012. Further afield we can also design storage stability studies to meet OPPTS requirements.

We happen to have excellent student services and University support available.Need some guidance and the supervisors are backed up?Our company might be able to help. Papers will not be written for you. However we can offer consultancy services, and laboratory services. These may be able to help you work at that pace you want to work at. Especially If you find the university equipment is constantly booked out and you just want to get the job done!Moreover, we may even let you use our equipment (with agreement of your university and also under our supervision). This is so that you can get some first-hand experience.
