About this presentation

The proliferation of sustainable or ‘green’ claims is exponential. At face value, it is positive that organisations recognise the value and importance of sustainability credentials to stakeholders and customers. However, according to a review by the UK Competition and Markets Authority, 40% of green claims made online could be misleading consumers.

Making reliable, evidence-based claims about the sustainability credentials of your products, services, supply chain and business is the only way forward.

Chris Jockel, Principal Sustainability Consultant with Bureau Veritas UK, will guide you through the pitfalls of making misleading claims, the actions you can take to mitigate this and the regulations that are making this issue so prevalent in every industry.
