About this presentation

ECHA’s guidance document presents an approach to assess the risks of biocides to honey bees, bumble bees and solitary bees, based on the latest scientific knowledge. Certain PT18 biocides have been identified as a cause for decline in pollinator populations alongside climate change and habitat loss. This presentation will cover the impact of the new risk assessments for the protection of pollinator species and insecticides and potential disparity between EU and UK legislation and requirements.
