About this Panel Session
There is a strong drive across the chemical industry, especially in cosmetics, to develop new safe and sustainable ingredients and this is supported by the EU’s Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) initiative. British Chemicals Association (BCA) expert speakers will take you through SSbD to find out what it means, what questions it raises and what is still unknown. We will look at this in practice and how the principles can be applied followed by a Q&A discussion to answer your own questions.
Speaker Bio:
Nick Dixon is chair of the BCA Personal Care Group and represents the UK on the EFfCI Board. He has worked in industry for nearly 40 years in precious metals, pharmaceuticals, detergents and for the last 24 years at Innospec in a variety of roles and now leads a New Product Discovery Group in the Performance Chemicals business.
