About this presentation

Transport of dangerous goods is one of the basic foundations of the chemicals industry, however many companies have an incomplete or incorrect understanding of their responsibilities and obligations for transport of dangerous goods. The main transport regulation used in the UK is the regulation concerning the transport of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) which is updated every 2 years. This presentation will introduce the main themes and terminology of the ADR and explore its history, developments, and future. WSP has staff with the necessary qualifications to provide a DGSA service and has been providing this service to companies for many years. The presentation will include a showcase of issues regularly faced by clients and solutions which have been implemented in the past. This presentation will be of interest to companies who consign dangerous goods. Transitional measures from previous versions of the ADR are coming into effect from the start of 2023 which means their responsibilities have changed. Content summary What is ADR?  basic run through. Changes to ADR for the latest edition (2023). What WSP can offer to assist companies with compliance.
