Speaker Bio:

Pete gained a masters degree in mechanical engineering and management from Birmingham University. He went on to gain a post graduate certificate in design manufacture and management from Cambridge University. Pete started his career with GKN Automotive as process development engineer. He spent the next 10 years in a wide range of manufacturing environments including automotive, plastics, minerals and defence specialising in product safety and compliance.

Pete has worked as a compliance consultant for over 20 years, specialising in large industrial equipment such as machinery, process and energy plant, pressure equipment and equipment for explosive atmospheres. He was a joint founder of Authorised Rep Compliance in 2020.

He speaks five languages and has travelled widely in the course of his work and leisure activities. Pete is a keen caver, walker and cyclist, and lives in Lancaster with his family and numerous pets.
