About this Panel

Bringing together a balanced panel comprised of expert representatives from industry, legal and government to emerging chemicals of concern. The conversation will centre around sharing and discussing various challenges that industry is faced with regards to emerging chemicals of concern i.e. PFAS, microplastics, hexavalent chrome etc. along with workable solutions. This panel will provide an opportunity to hear varying perspectives and case studies on this topic along with the chance for the audience participants to ask questions to our expert panellists.

Speaker Bio:

Tom is an environmental and sustainability professional with nearly 20 years’ experience in the field. Over the last 15 years his work has focused on product sustainability, leading large multi-national companies across a number of different sectors, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, medical devices, manufacturing, oil and gas, and automotive, to meet their obligations under REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging), and other EU and worldwide chemical legislation. Tom’s recent focus has been on impacts risk management measures, such as Authorisation and Restriction, have on companies operating in the EU and UK. As part of this work Tom is a member of the Ramboll Health Sciences Spearhead that is developing strategies to address such challenges across the globe. Before joining Ramboll Tom has previously worked in consultancy, industry, and trade associations
