Heat circulation thermostats | KISS • Compatible Control

Heat circulation thermostats are specially designed for temperature control of externally attached applications with a small volume. The devices are fitted with bath vessels made of stainless steel or transparent polycarbonate and have rear-side pump connections as standard as well as a stainless steel bath cover with a filling opening. All models are fitted with an overtemperature and low level protection system according to safety class III/FL (DIN 12876) for use with flammable fluids. A powerful pressure-suction pump ensures optimal heat transfer to external attached applications.

    2. Heat Exchanger Refurbishment

      Heat Exchanger Refurbishment

Our state-of-the-art refurbishment centre allows our trained engineers to test and restore heat exchangers. When heat exchangers begin to show signs of wear, our refurbishment services aim to restore equipment performance and extend asset lifespan. This may involve repairing, upgrading, or reconditioning components to bring them back to optimal operating condition. Refurbishment offers a cost-effective alternative to full replacement, helping chemical facilities improve reliability while controlling capital expenditure.

    3. Heat Exchanger/Pasteuriser Integrity Testing

      Heat Exchanger/Pasteuriser Integrity Testing

Moody Heat Exchangers conducts integrity testing to assess the structural condition and reliability of your heat exchanger. Using advanced inspection techniques, their engineers can detect issues such as corrosion, leaks, or material degradation that could compromise performance or safety. These assessments allow operators to make informed maintenance decisions and ensure equipment continues to meet operational and regulatory standards. We provide two methods of integrity testing. Firstly, the GasTest 3000. This test uses the advanced Hydrogen gas to not only detect defects on a micron level but to identify any future weaknesses in your plates and gaskets. This can be vital when implementing a preventative maintenance plan. Secondly, the PasTest 2000 also detects defects, by circulating water around your plates to identify cracks. We provide both services to give you the option to choose the most suitable test for your heat exchangers and overall production.

    4. Heat Trace Ancillaries

      Heat Trace Ancillaries

Heat Trace Ltd offers a comprehensive range of ancillary products designed to support its advanced heat‑tracing systems, ensuring precise regulation and consistent performance across all applications. These include: - Termination methods - Temperature control and monitoring - EXe and EXd solutions Termination Methods: Standard Termination Standard Termination involves the use of conventional plastic or metal cable glands. These glands are specifically made for our heating cables. Cable Glands are normally supplied in termination kits. The kits are available for safe and hazardous areas and contain all the parts required for connection to the power and to terminate the end of the cable. Kits also contain a caution label and cable identification tag. DESTU Termination The DESTU system, for safe and hazardous areas, reduces the risk of damage to the heating cable as it emerges from the thermal insulation for connection into the junction box. DESTU is available for power termination, in-line splice and tee splice terminations. AJB/D Junction Box The AJB/D Junction Box is designed for use with electric trace heating systems and is available for use in both safe and hazardous areas. IP66 rated, with a full range of accessories and termination kits available. EXd Range of Junction Boxes - R Series The 'R' Series range of Junction Boxes offer a quality EXd Solution for use with electric trace heating systems. Temperature Control & Monitoring: Heat Trace supply a range of stand alone and panel-mounted, mechanical and electronic temperature control and monitoring systems, for both safe and hazardous use: - Capillary thermostats - Electronic thermostats

    5. Heavy Industrial Immersion Heater with IOT

Heavy Industrial Immersion Heater with IOT

Heatrod manufacture a wide range of heavy industrial immersion heaters for commercial and industrial applications. With our customers facing increasing energy costs we have introduced the option to include our digital temperature controller into many of our heavy industrial immersion products. The image shown is used in de-ionised water for cleaning processes. Example of Applications: - Commercial cylinder heating (Tanks/Vessels) - Industrial Flow Heating (Pipes/Circuits) - Industrial Heating Applications (Extrusion, Tool Heating, etc) Benefits: - Improved Control/Improved Accuracy - Reduced Energy Costs - Increased Control Options (eg. Aux control for pump) At a basic level this gives the accuracy of PID temperature control so limiting overun on temperatures and energy usage. For more advanced users, our digital controllers can be connected to our secure cloud based management system allowing users the ability to carefully monitor and manage the energy usage of our heaters. Monitoring features allow full visibility of live temperatures and energy usage in your applications which, in turn, allows power optimising decisions to be made. Usage patterns and associated energy usage can then be managed by the use of simple daily/weekly load schedules. Heating schedules can also be linked to low cost tariffs based on scheduling and to avoid high cost times such as Triad periods which are introduced for commercial users between the months of November and February. In advanced cases, users will be able to link their Backer IoT controllers to variable tariff information provided by energy generation companies. The controller will then optimise it's heating patterns in order to reach required temperatures whilst using the lowest cost half hourly periods. The Backer IoT controller can be applied to all of our products either by being built into the unit, where space allows, or by incorporating into a linked control/switch panel.
