Industrial utility automation
Industrial utility automation controls and optimises systems such as process water, compressed air, HVAC, and clean utilities in production environments. Aligned with GAMP 5 principles, it uses field instrumentation and analysers, PLC/DCS, SCADA, and predictive models to maintain stable operating conditions, protect equipment, reduce energy and media losses, and support consistent product quality. The end-to-end automation solution covers design and engineering, installation, and maintenance, resulting in transparent monitoring, real-time data visibility, early-fault detection, and integration with plant-wide control systems.

Industrialization Framework

INFLOW™ TURBIDITY MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
Turbidity analysis uses a high-resolution CCD/CMOS image sensor that detects turbidity changes in fluids by measuring the transmittance of light. Using advanced software algorithms, the system automatically removes gas bubbles from the analysis resulting in highly accurate and repeatable data outputs. This system is designed for inline use with varying pressures, temperatures, and pipe diameters.

Instantaneous Jet Heaters
Transvac’s range of Instantaneous Jet Heaters provide a simple, low cost, silent and reliable method of heating a liquid inline using Steam Ejector technology. Our experience in designing and manufacturing Jet Heaters spans over 45 years, making us a world leader in steam heating. By bringing the steam into direct contact with the cold liquid, both the sensible and latent heat of the steam is fully dissipated within the liquid, making the Transvac Instantaneous Jet Heaters very efficient. Transvac Heaters are also designed to perform this operation silently to prevent undue noise and wear normally associated with steam ‘collapse’.

Instrument Spares
Chromatography Direct supplies a dependable range of Instrument Spares to help laboratories maintain uptime, protect data quality, and keep analytical instruments performing at their best. For ChemUK 2026, we are showcasing essential consumable spares and maintenance items that support routine servicing, troubleshooting, and reliable long-term operation across chromatography and mass spectrometry workflows. Our range includes detector lamps, helping ensure stable performance, consistent response, and dependable sensitivity in systems where lamp output is critical. We also supply syringes to support accurate sample introduction and reliable operation in autosamplers and related systems, helping reduce variability and prevent avoidable failures caused by worn components. For mass spectrometry and detector-related maintenance, we provide key components such as filaments and electron multipliers, supporting reliable ionisation and detection performance. Replacing these parts at the right time can help maintain instrument sensitivity, reduce noise, and improve confidence in trace-level quantitation, particularly in demanding applications and high-throughput environments. To make planned maintenance simpler and more consistent, we also offer service kits that bring together commonly required replacement parts for routine servicing. These kits can help laboratories standardise maintenance schedules, reduce unexpected downtime, and ensure critical spares are available when needed. Whether you are supporting routine QC, research, environmental testing, or regulated workflows, Chromatography Direct can help you identify the right spares for your instrument and maintenance plan.
