    3. QuickStrip® CleanPlus Lobe Pumps

      QuickStrip® CleanPlus Lobe Pumps

Every day, processors depend on their pumps to keep operations running — but not all pumps are built to the same standard. Unibloc's QuickStrip® CleanPlus lobe pumps are engineered for the toughest processing environments, delivering the durability, efficiency, and lower operational costs that serious operators demand. At the heart of the CleanPlus design is a bolt-free rotor system, the first of its kind to eliminate damage caused by improperly torqued rotor bolts, and the only one to remove the risk of plastic wearing into your product. All-stainless-steel rotors mean zero contamination risk and zero compromises. Cleaning is where CleanPlus really changes the game. The QuickStrip® design slashes Clean-out-of-Place (COP) cycles from hours to minutes, while the patented FlushCap bearing makes CleanPlus pumps fully compatible with Clean-in-Place (CIP) processes — reducing downtime and keeping production moving with confidence. Less damage. Less contamination risk. Less time cleaning. That's the CleanPlus difference.

    4. Radioactive Waste Services

      Radioactive Waste Services

Augean works closely with the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in their mission to clean up the UK’s earliest nuclear sites safely, securely and cost effectively. Alongside the NDA, Augean manages radioactive waste from a range of other sources, including NORM and Research Sites. Our specialist centres process by-products and waste materials from the Radioactive Industry to provide cost effective solutions for re-use, recovery or disposal. We have significant processing capacity to sustainably treat contaminated metals, solids and selected liquids. The quality of our service and infrastructure, and the range and quantities of wastes we treat and dispose under our Environmental Permits, are valued by our customers. From initial enquiry our team are on hand to guide customers through the process of safely and compliantly dealing with these often hard to handle wastes. Our technical team review all enquiries, understanding that timing is often crucial to keep a project moving. Once a project is under way, our customer service team ensure all compliance paperwork meets regulatory standards with full reporting available.

SITRANS F: Flow Measurement that makes sense. The right flow meter for every application. Whether you need to measure the flow of liquids, gas or steam, we have the right tools for flow measurement in your process instrumentation system. Parmley Graham offers Siemens’ series of flow sensors and flow meters that can be optimised for a wide range of applications. The flow sensors are made from a wide variety of materials with different measuring principles, which can be used to in a wide variety of applications. Thus, the right solution can be found for every application area.

    6. Raw materials characterisation

      Raw materials characterisation

It is often necessary to determine the physical and chemical properties of the raw bio-based materials used in a specific project at the start of the work. This typically involves specific technologies that focus on particular properties, such as the range of chemical elements in a source of biomass or the amount of water present. We have a range of capabilities to look at different feedstock properties including various types of chromatography, water analysis, oxidative stability, nucleic acid analysis and microscopy. Using these technologies allows a detailed profile of physical and chemical properties to be generated that then determines the next steps in processing a particular type of bio-based raw material.

    7. RBS Dipslide

      RBS Dipslide

RBS Dipslides (Box of 10) SKU: 10010150 Tryptone Soya Agar with TTC (Red spot dye) Rose bengal Chloramphenicol agar Most bacteria show up as red spots Yeasts and moulds grow on the second side For general use RBS Dipslides, supplied in a box of ten, are for general testing use. Tryptone Soya Agar with TTC (Red spot dye) and Rose bengal Chloramphenicol agar means most bacteria will show up as red spots. Yeast and mould grows on the second side. TSA-RBC is used for the isolation and enumeration of yeast, moulds, and other fungi from foods and other materials. The TTC (red spot dye) combined with the Rose Bengal component helps in the differentiation of yeasts and moulds from bacteria. After incubation, bacteria colonies will appear on the other side as red spots. TSA-RBC is particularly helpful for the detection of food spoilage caused by these microorganisms.
