    2. PROFOX X: Compact Electric Actuation for Hazardous and Safety- Instrumented Applications

PROFOX X: Compact Electric Actuation for Hazardous and Safety- Instrumented Applications

PROFOX X from AUMA Actuators Limited has been designed to meet these requirements, providing a compact electric actuator platform specifically for use in explosive atmospheres and safety-critical installations. PROFOX X is engineered around a robust metal enclosure, offering high mechanical strength and environmental protection in a compact form factor. This makes it particularly suitable for applications where installation space is limited, such as skid-mounted process units, modular plant designs and retrofit projects. Despite its reduced footprint, PROFOX X maintains the durability expected of industrial electric actuators, supporting long service intervals in demanding operating conditions. A key operational feature of PROFOX X is the integrated FOX-EYE status indicator. The centrally positioned, high-intensity LED provides clear visual feedback on actuator and valve status, enabling operators and maintenance personnel to determine operating conditions at a glance. In complex process environments where multiple actuators are installed within confined or hazardous zones, this immediate visibility reduces the need for manual verification via control systems and supports safer, more efficient plant walk-downs. PROFOX X is certified for use in ATEX and IECEx explosive atmospheres, covering gas group IIC T4, including hydrogen. This certification allows the actuator to be deployed in a wide range of chemical, petrochemical and energy applications where explosion protection is mandatory. In addition, the actuator supports integration into functional safety architectures, making it suitable for use in SIL-related valve automation schemes. Reliable position feedback, diagnostics and compatibility with modern control interfaces ensure predictable behaviour within safety-instrumented systems.

    4. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

      PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Here at BHL, we believe the implementation of project objectives, effective teamwork and our “Orbital” style management, are key to a successful Project. We pride ourselves on being able to provide a full spectrum of project services, from our professional & skilled Project Managers right through to the provision of our own removal crews and vehicles, offering a complete Turnkey Solution. We believe this all-encompassing approach, with no singular aspect of the project being managed by a third party, allows for a more streamline chain of command, effective and swift problem solving, and therefore an efficient Project. We feel it is important for our Project Managers to have a full view and influence on all aspects of the Project in order to achieve maximum success. It is with this in mind that we have developed an “orbital” approach to planning and management, this in essence, simply focuses on the assigned Project Manager being at the centre of the process. It is from this central position that all levels of service and tasks revolve or “orbit”, and at any one time are under the control of the Project Manager. Our initial Project management role would be to identify the scope of the project, and discuss the constraints of time, cost etc. It is from this initial planning meeting that we can then set our Project Objectives and develop a comprehensive Project Plan, assigning specific jobs, adhering to budget restraints and engaging the client base. Regular Move Management meetings will then be organised by our Project Manager, with emphasis on fully informing all involved. Election of Move Advocates to represent different move groups and to feedback process details such as our Move Checklists, temporary evacuation procedures, waste disposal information and the projected Move Schedule etc.

    5. Project Management & Execution
