Varibell® – High-Resolution Servo Drive System
Varibell® is an innovative quarter turn rotary control valve. By using high-resolution servo drives it is possible to make optimum use of the high turndown ratio of up to 1:10 000. This unique actuation system combines state-of-the-art servo motors with extremely low-backlash gearboxes for positioning accuracy of up to 1 arcmin. This makes it possible to resolve the 90° swivel movement in up to 5 400 steps. Together with a maximum speed of more than 90 °/s, this results in unrivaled control quality.
