Bath and circulation thermostats | KISS • Ministat • Compatible Control
The circulators are split into two product lines, the CC-models and the simpler KISS models. Both product lines represent classically constructed laboratory circulators with open baths. Baths and circulators for heating applications up to +300 °C are available, as well as models for heating and cooling applications from -90 °C to +200 °C. Immersion or bridge circulators are suitable for thermal control of existing baths. The Ministat, the smallest cooling and heating circulator in the world, is the first choice for operation in fume-hoods or integrating into systems.

Beckman Coulter LS13320XR
The Beckman Coulter LS 13320 XR is a high-performance laser diffraction particle size analyser designed for fast, accurate measurement of particle size distributions across a wide analytical range. It is widely used in chemicals industries where particle size control directly impacts product performance and quality. The system combines laser diffraction technology with Beckman Coulter’s proprietary PIDS (Polarization Intensity Differential Scattering), allowing enhanced resolution of fine particles and improved accuracy in complex or multi-modal distributions. It measures particles from approximately 10 nm to 3,500 µm, enabling a single platform to cover both nano- and macro-scale materials. The measurement principle is based on analysing how a laser beam is scattered by particles in a sample. By combining multiple wavelengths and polarised light detection, the LS 13320 XR improves sensitivity in the submicron region and delivers highly detailed distribution profiles. A key strength of the system is its flexible sample handling. It supports both wet and dry dispersion using interchangeable modules, including the Universal Liquid Module (ULM) and Dry Powder System (DPS). This makes it suitable for a wide variety of materials, from fragile agglomerates to stable suspensions and free-flowing powders. The instrument is supported by advanced software that simplifies method development, data analysis, and reporting. It enables automated QC workflows, pass/fail criteria, and supports regulatory compliance such as 21 CFR Part 11, making it suitable for regulated environments including pharmaceutical manufacturing. Operational efficiency is a major benefit of the LS 13320 XR. Automated alignment, self-check diagnostics, and rapid measurement cycles reduce downtime and improve reproducibility. Results are presented as full particle size distributions, typically by volume, with key parameters such as D10, D50, and D90 clearly reported for easy interpretation.

Bettersize Instruments BeNano 180 Zeta Max
The Bettersize Instruments BeNano 180 Zeta Max is an advanced nanoparticle characterisation system designed to provide highly accurate measurements of particle size, zeta potential, molecular weight, concentration, refractive index, and microrheological properties within a single compact platform. Using technologies including Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), Electrophoretic Light Scattering (ELS), Static Light Scattering (SLS), and Phase Analysis Light Scattering (PALS), the instrument delivers detailed insight into the behaviour and stability of nano- and submicron-scale materials. In the chemicals industry, understanding particle behaviour is critical for developing stable, high-performance formulations. The BeNano 180 Zeta Max helps manufacturers optimise products such as pigments, inks, coatings, polymers, emulsions, catalysts, battery slurries, and specialty chemicals by accurately characterising particle interactions and dispersion stability. Measurements of zeta potential allow users to assess suspension stability and predict issues such as aggregation, flocculation, and sedimentation before they affect product quality. The system offers a measurement range from 0.3 nm to 15 µm and can analyse highly concentrated or low-volume samples with excellent sensitivity. Advanced temperature control from -15 °C to 120 °C also enables stability studies under varying environmental conditions. For chemical manufacturers, the BeNano 180 Zeta Max supports both research and quality control by improving formulation consistency, accelerating product development, and reducing waste caused by unstable dispersions. Its ability to combine multiple analytical techniques into one instrument also reduces testing time and improves workflow efficiency. Overall, the BeNano 180 Zeta Max is a powerful solution for chemical laboratories seeking deeper understanding of nanoparticle behaviour, enhanced formulation stability, and reliable quality assurance in modern material development.

Bettersize Instruments BeScan Lab
The Bettersize BeScan Lab Stability Analyser is an advanced instrument designed to evaluate the stability of dispersions, emulsions, suspensions, and foams used throughout the chemicals industry. Using Static Multiple Light Scattering (SMLS) technology, the BeScan Lab provides rapid, sensitive, and non-destructive stability analysis, helping laboratories better understand product behaviour over time. In the chemicals sector, product stability is essential for maintaining performance, shelf life, processing efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The BeScan Lab detects destabilisation mechanisms such as sedimentation, creaming, flocculation, coalescence, and phase separation long before changes become visible. Its high-resolution scanning system captures transmission and backscattering data throughout the sample, providing detailed insight into formulation behaviour and particle migration. The instrument is particularly valuable for paints, coatings, inks, pigments, adhesives, polymers, lubricants, battery slurries, agrochemicals, and specialty chemicals. It enables scientists to optimise formulations by comparing dispersants, surfactants, grinding conditions, and raw materials while reducing reliance on lengthy traditional stability studies. A major advantage of the BeScan Lab is its ability to analyse highly concentrated samples up to 95% v/v without dilution or shear, preserving the true structure of the formulation during testing. The system also offers temperature-controlled measurements up to 80 °C, allowing accelerated stability studies and faster prediction of long-term product performance. In quality control environments, the BeScan Lab helps ensure batch consistency and supports troubleshooting during manufacturing. By quantifying instability through parameters such as the Instability Index (IUS), users can objectively compare formulations and rapidly identify process improvements.
