      Factice

Factice, a vulcanized unsaturated vegetable or animal oil, plays a crucial role as a processing aid and property modifier in the rubber industry. By cross-linking fatty-acid chains with sulphur or sulphur monochloride, factice enhances the processing characteristics and ozone resistance of rubber compounds. Depending on the type and amount used, factice can improve dimensional stability, reduce mill sticking, and enhance the overall haptics of rubber products. Its applications range from improving extrusion conditions to preventing shrinkage and bleeding of liquid ingredients, making it indispensable for producing high-quality rubber goods. The main benefits of using factice as a processing aid in rubber compounds include: - Improved plasticizer, absorption and retention - Enhanced dimensional stability - Reduced mill sticking - Lower mixing temperatures - Reduced shrinkage - Improved extrusion and calendering - Enhanced ozone resistance - Better degassing - Improved/enhance tactile properties Grades Available AgM:BSS Oil Extended Factice AgM:B2H Brown Factice AgM:YH Yellow Factice AgM:WS1 White Factice AgM:PF Peroxide Factice N.b. 2. Fieldbus displays

      Fieldbus displays

These versatile instruments have eleven selectable standard screen formats containing one, two, three, four or eight fieldbus process variables, some with bargraphs, together with units of measurement and descriptions. Up to eight fieldbus variables may therefore be viewed simultaneously on a single display screen. Front panel push buttons allow the operator to scroll between screens. These fieldbus displays are compatable with all common FOUNDATION™ fieldbus or PROFIBUS PA host.

    3. Filtration Products

      Filtration Products

Chromatography Direct supplies a comprehensive range of Filtration Products designed to improve sample preparation, protect analytical instruments, and streamline day-to-day lab workflows. For ChemUK 2026, we are showcasing practical filtration solutions that help laboratories reduce particulates, minimise contamination risk, and achieve more consistent results across routine testing and high-sensitivity analysis. Our range includes syringe filters in a choice of membrane types and pore sizes to suit aqueous and solvent-based samples, helping extend column life and improve HPLC/GC/LC-MS uptime. For faster, cleaner sample prep with fewer handling steps, our syringeless filter vials combine filtration and collection in one simple format, ideal for high-throughput environments. We also supply plastic syringes to support safe, reliable manual filtration and sample transfer, plus filter paper for general laboratory filtration tasks in QC, production support, and R&D. For purification and downstream processing, we offer FPLC columns suitable for a range of biomolecule separation and clean-up workflows. For plate-based screening and parallel processing, our filter plates enable efficient filtration across multiple samples at once, supporting higher throughput with consistent performance. Our bottle top filters provide convenient filtration into laboratory bottles, reducing transfer steps while supporting sterile or particle removal applications (such as media, buffers, reagents, and environmental samples). To support safe venting and contamination control, our vent filters help protect systems and maintain cleanliness in storage and processing workflows. Whether you are optimising sample preparation, scaling throughput, or improving contamination control, Chromatography Direct can help you select the right filtration format, membrane, and configuration for your application. Visit our ChemUK profile to explore the range and speak to our team about your requirements.
