Unity
Oxford Instruments introduces Unity, a new detector for a revolutionary new imaging technique in the Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Unity is the world’s first Backscattered Electron and X-ray (BEX) Imaging detector. It seamlessly combines backscattered electron and X-ray signals to deliver rapid high-definition colour images embedded with elemental data as you navigate around your sample. Based on a revolutionary design, which includes both backscattered electron and X-ray sensors within the same sensor package, Unity is located directly beneath the pole piece and has been engineered to maximise signal collection, ensuring it can be used at normal imaging speed and operating conditions, making imaging elementary. The high-speed BEX data collection of Unity makes it easier than ever before to image and analyse an entire sample in minutes, changing the way SEM is used.

Additionally, all units run on natural refrigerants, and use variable speed compressor and fan technology to obtain maximum energy efficiency whilst maintaining an eco-friendly and compliant design.

Universal Design Ejectors
Traditional Ejectors are fixed-design devices that are custom designed to perform at specific operating conditions. However, Transvac understands that processes are not always fixed and predictable and conditions can change over time. That’s why we invented our patented ‘Universal Design’ Ejector technology. The patented Universal Design (UD) comprises an external pressure retaining shell (the Ejector body) into which two replaceable components are fitted, the Nozzle and Diffuser. The geometry of these two components give the Ejector it’s operating characteristics. As process conditions change, the Universal Design Internals can be changed-out with new Internals which are optimised for the new conditions.

Vacuubrand manufactures a comprehensive range of laboratory vacuum pumps, gauges and controllers for both coarse and fine vacuums allowing chemists and technicians to focus their attention on other tasks.
Vacuubrand manufactures a comprehensive range of laboratory and instrumentation vacuum pumps, gauges and controllers for both coarse and fine vacuums. Vacuubrand’s first priority is to offer sophisticated equipment which meets the highest quality, professional standards expected of a modern laboratory. For example, ‘intelligent pumps’ make lab work more efficient, allowing chemists and technicians to focus their attention on other tasks. They engineer and produce almost all of their pump and controller components at their facility in Germany. This enables Vacuubrand to quickly respond to the wide variety of demands from different laboratories, offering tailor-made solutions, and also ensures a consistent approach to the quality of their design and manufacturing processes. Vacuubrand relies on a range of cutting-edge technology and machine tools to produce a large selection of products, including rotary vanes, diaphragm pumping units, chemistry vacuum systems, vacuum gauges and controllers, as well as valves and components of the innovative VACUU-LAN local vacuum network.

Vacuum
IKA’s small but excellent product group of vacuum pumps is perfectly suitable for many dry and oil-free applications in the laboratory. The devices stand out due to their high suction capacity and ease of service. Their membranes are particularly chemical resistant, as well. The diaphragm vacuum pumps are suitable for many vacuum tasks in the lab such as separation, filtration or degassing. They are even suitable to construct a laboratory vacuum system in which you can switch any number of vacuum controllers in series according to the application. In addition, they perfectly complement your rotary evaporators or laboratory reactors.
