Magmex Series
Magmex is a range of Magnesium Hydroxide suspensions used for acidic wastewater treatment to control pH levels and the addition of alkalinity within both anaerobic and aerobic systems. Traditionally, sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) and calcium hydroxide (lime) have been used to neutralise acidic wastewater. However, these compounds can cause high pH levels if not controlled correctly, which can lead to high consumption of the neutraliser – a wasteful and expensive practice! The Magmex range is the environmentally friendly answer for acidic wastewater treatment. It is safe and easy to use, and due to the physical and chemical properties of the high solid strength suspensions, Magmex offers pH neutralisation reactions that are easy to control and alkalinity that is carried over within the system. This means that product consumption can be controlled accurately, hence providing an upstream saving compared to other methods.

Magnetic Coupled Pumps
Empire Pumps’ EPM range of Sealless Magnetic Coupled Pumps, known commonly as a Mag Drive Pump, are manufactured from polypropylene and PVDF thermoplastic materials. Our Mag Drive pump technology is specifically manufactured for operation with corrosive chemicals associated with many industries. Our Sealless design is unique, ensuring complete closed containment for efficient chemical transfer without leaks. The pump is operated by a synchronisation of magnetic forces from a drive magnet, connected to an electric motor and the pump impeller positioned inside the pump. The assembly of the pump is simple and requires very little maintenance. Empire Pumps range of Magnetic Coupled Pumps have high tolerances, with no close touching parts between the pump impeller and suction casing. This gives an advantage when transferring solutions which have very fine particles present and chemicals which can be prone to crystallisation. Our EPM range of magnetic centrifugal pumps have a limited run dry capability and can achieve flow rates between 0 and 1000 l/min catering to a wide range of chemical transfer applications.

Magnetic Drive Centrifugal Pumps
The CHEMQUIP Plastic Lined, Mag-Drive Pump Chemquip MNK design features:- Virgin unfilled thick walled anchored vacuum resistant linings of PFA/PTFE, PP & PE. Anti static lining also available. High temperature design - capable of handling applications up to 180oc (360of). Sealless design translates into a safe, reliable pumping system without the worries of seal failure. Reduced maintenance, longer life, and environmentally responsible. Standard Pumps to ISO 2858/ ISO 5199. ISO flanges drilled ANSI & ANSI pumps available. Magnetic Coupling power rating to 65kW (85HP). Containment shells can be bonded making them totally resistant to hard vacuum and lessening the chances of failure. Flow rates - up to 300 m3/hr (1250GPM). Heads - to 130m (425 feet). Operating pressures - up to 16 Bar (235 PSI). DIAMONDSAFE PLUS pure alpha sintered silicon carbide (SSiC) bearings provide dry-run capability allowing plant personnel valuable time to identify and rectify process interruptions before pump damage occurs. Tough all-metal pump casing armour absorbs all the loads in the system from the suction and discharge piping eliminating the need for expansion joints. Larger pipework connections allow higher flows / lower velocities. Dual non-metallic containment shells create no eddy current losses, increasing efficiencies, reduces minimum flows and increases operational safety whilst saving energy. Secondary, monitorable containment ensures more reliable, safer operation with hazardous liquids. A one piece, hydraulically-optimised enclosed-impeller with back-vanes minimises axial thrust extending bearing life and lowering operating costs. The large metal core and seamless thick wall lining increase reliability and lower maintenance even at high temperatures and flows. High-performance permanent rare earth magnets of Samarium-Cobalt as standard which provides high temperature capabilities. Magnets seamless encapsulation in PFA protects against product attack.

Magnetic Level Gauge
KLINGER magnetic level gauges provide accurate, reliable liquid level measurement for demanding industrial applications, from chemical processing to power generation and oil and gas. Operating on a simple yet precise principle, the liquid level in the gauge chamber mirrors the vessel level, offering real-time, easy-to-read indication without external power. Built for durability, these gauges withstand high pressure, temperature, and corrosive conditions while minimising maintenance. With fully corrosion-resistant construction, flexible configurations, and approvals such as LRS and BV, KLINGER magnetic level gauges deliver safe, precise, and long-term performance—even in the most critical plant operations.

Manual and Automated Piggable Valve Manifolds
HPS Manual and Automated Piggable Valve Manifolds are designed for flexible liquid transfer routing in processes with multiple sources and multiple destinations. Available in both manual and fully automated configurations, these systems enable full product recovery (pigging) from any source to any destination, while reducing the risk of product misrouting. Suitable for industrial and hygienic process applications, they help improve efficiency, reliability, and overall process control.

Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM)
MOM coordinates production, quality, inventory, maintenance, and planning across Levels 2–4 of the ISA-95 model. It synchronises campaigns and changeovers, aligns tank farm and bulk inventory with production plans, manages specification and master-data consistency, and orchestrates hand-offs between production, quality, warehouse, and maintenance across batch, continuous, and hybrid units. MES manages production execution and data capture; APS performs finite-capacity scheduling with constraints and changeover rules; warehouse management controls inventory, locations, and material flows; maintenance manages assets, calibration, and condition-based interventions; quality management handles specifications, sampling decisions, nonconformances, and release processes.

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
MES provides real-time visibility and control over GAMP compliant operations by collecting detailed data from machines, sensors, and operators. It precisely executes work orders and recipes, generates Electronic Batch Records (eBR) with review-by-exception, and maintains tamper-evident audit trails and e-signatures to meet regulatory requirements. It enforces weigh-and-dispense tolerances, sampling and in-process control checks, and material status, enabling full lot genealogy across batch, continuous, and hybrid processes. MES acts as a coordination layer between enterprise planning and shop-floor execution. Bidirectional data flow supports immediate corrective actions, production monitoring, and continuous process optimisation, while keeping production running smoothly.

Marking and labelling
Automated marking systems with full PLC and HMI integration deliver precise printing, engraving, and labelling of text, barcodes, Data Matrix, logos, and custom graphics. Parameters can be set from the recipe/MES system, allowing PLC changeovers or adjustments of the printing content. Vision systems, distance sensors, servo positioning, and dedicated valves keep marks consistent. By driving automatic lane or box sorting and reject handling, these systems prevent mislabelled products from leaving the cell. For chemical use, the system supports all required regulatory and product identification data, using solvent-resistant media. Inline scanners verify each mark to code quality grading, logging reads to a central database for end-to-end traceability and compliance.
